Bumps along the road

"I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see."
John Burroughs said this and I think that he was on to something. Life doesn't last forever. What I take from this is that life is here and gone in a flash, and that we should live each to the fullest we possibly can. I know that this is kind of overdone the whole live life to the fullest thing, but I think that so many people take being on Earth for granted. That because I've hit a couple of rough patches I'm going to give up, or get angry at the world because we think we deserve better. Really though it's our bumps and bruises that make us who we are, and who've we grown up to be. Without them we wouldn't be who and what we are today.

  2. Not neccisarily. What I'm saying is that the rough patches, and the scars are what makes us us. Without these things we wouldn't be who we are now so when you think about it your freckles could be or couldn't be. It all depends on how you decide to interpret it.
